Andavi Solutions has acquired Infilect, an AI image-recognition company headquartered in Bengaluru, India, folding visual intelligence and agentic AI into its sales execution platform for beverage and consumer goods companies. The combined system is already live with beverage alcohol customers, the companies said.

What the Tech Does

Infilect's platform analyzes photos and videos captured at retail — scanning shelves, displays, menus, and backbars to identify individual SKUs, facings, pricing, out-of-stocks, share of shelf, and competitor placement. By integrating that capability into Andavi Solutions' existing salesforce automation tools, field representatives can photograph a store during a routine visit and receive prioritized next-best actions in near real time, rather than completing manual surveys and waiting for static reports to surface problems.

For operators and on-premise accounts, the backbar and menu-scanning functions are a notable addition: a supplier's field rep can verify product visibility and pricing compliance at a bar or restaurant without time-consuming manual audits, then act on gaps before the next scheduled visit.

Implications for Beverage Operators

"This acquisition advances our strategy to build a more intelligent sales execution platform," said Nina Vellayan, CEO of Andavi Solutions. "Infilect gives our customers better visibility into what is happening in the market and helps turn those insights into action."

Anand Prabhu Subramanian, co-founder and CEO of Infilect, framed the deal as a scale play: joining Andavi provides access to a larger customer base while continuing global expansion. Vijay Gabale, Infilect's co-founder and CPTO, added that the combination accelerates the company's agentic AI roadmap for field execution — a reference to AI systems that not only surface insights but autonomously recommend or initiate follow-up steps.

The acquisition reflects a broader shift in beverage industry technology toward AI-driven retail execution. Suppliers and distributors face persistent pressure to prove promotional compliance, monitor out-of-stocks faster, and document merchandising standards across thousands of retail and on-premise doors. Tools that compress the time between a store visit and a corrective action are increasingly central to route-to-market strategy.

Infilect will maintain its existing products, team, customer relationships, and service commitments under Andavi's ownership — a structure that limits disruption for current Infilect clients while integration work continues. This deal is part of a wider wave of consolidation in foodservice and CPG sales technology as platforms race to offer end-to-end visibility from the distribution center to the retail shelf — or the bar top.
