American Express and ALL Accor, Accor's booking platform and loyalty program, have formed a global partnership that gives eligible Card Members a direct pathway to hotel elite status and a new channel for redeeming Membership Rewards® points across Accor's portfolio of more than 45 brands — including Raffles, Fairmont, and Sofitel.

The partnership launches in phases across Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand. For hospitality operators within the Accor network, the deal broadens the pool of high-value guests arriving with pre-assigned elite recognition, a dynamic that typically translates to higher on-property spend, stronger loyalty engagement, and repeat bookings.

Status Match Details

The core benefit is an elite status match: American Express Consumer, Small Business, and Corporate Platinum® Card Members can match their Amex status to ALL Accor Gold tier. That level unlocks complimentary Wi-Fi, welcome amenities, late check-out, room upgrades subject to availability, and bonus ALL Accor points at participating properties worldwide. For hotel food-and-beverage operations in particular, guests arriving with recognized elite status tend to be higher-frequency diners at on-property restaurants and bars — a meaningful lift for revenue centers beyond the room.

Points Transfer and Redemption

Alongside the status match, eligible Card Members gain the option to transfer Membership Rewards® points directly into the ALL Accor loyalty program. Point conversion ratios will vary by market, and country-specific details are set to be released throughout the year. Once transferred, points can be redeemed across ALL Accor's network of 45 hotel brands, dining, experiences, and more than 110 program partners.

"American Express' premium Membership base is perfectly suited for our luxury portfolio," said Mehdi Hemici, Chief Loyalty & E-Commerce Officer at Accor. "By combining our expansive brands and experiences with the strength of their global reach, we're creating more seamless, personalized stays and unlocking richer ways for guests to engage with ALL Accor at every stage of their journey."

Suzanne Morel, Senior Vice President of International Products and Partnerships at American Express, framed the deal as an extension of the card network's focus on premium travel value, pairing "meaningful recognition with greater redemption flexibility" for Card Members across markets.

For hospitality operators tracking loyalty-driven revenue strategies, the Accor–Amex structure illustrates a broader industry shift: credit-card partnerships are increasingly used to funnel pre-qualified, high-intent travelers into specific hotel ecosystems before they even search for a room. Operators within the Accor umbrella stand to benefit from that top-of-funnel capture, particularly in luxury and upper-upscale segments where Amex Platinum penetration is highest.

The deal also underscores the growing importance of points-transfer flexibility as a differentiator in hotel loyalty program design — a topic that has accelerated across the hospitality industry as programs compete with airline miles and fintech rewards for share of the premium traveler's wallet. ALL Accor's more than 7,000 annual events worldwide, spanning chef masterclasses to major sports tournaments, give transferred points a range of experiential redemption options that extend well beyond free nights.
